This course provides some example and sample STACK questions. The purpose of this is to demonstrate some of the possibilities of this question type.

In April 2010 the National HE STEM Programme funded a mini-project to take existing diagnostic tests in core mathematics and develop similar automatic tests for the STACK computer aided assessment system.

These questions are taken from A Calculus Refresher, by Dr A Croft and Dr A Kay, the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Loughborough University.

The following algebraic questions are based loosley on Tony Barnard's "A pocket map of algebraic manipulation". This booklet is included for completeness, although not all the questions in the booklet are automated here.
